On November 30, 2024, a delegation from the Department of Education and Training of Dong Nai Province, led by Mr. Vo Ngoc Thach, Deputy Director of Dong Nai Department of Education and Training, along with officials from the Department, Principals, Vice Principals, and teachers in charge of admission from 25 high schools in the province, visited and worked with Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).
On behalf of TDTU, Dr. Vo Hoang Duy, Vice President, Dr. Nguyen Ngọc Sơn, Vice President, and leaders from various Departments, Faculties, Institutes, and Centers warmly welcomed the delegation.
During the working session, Dr. Vo Hoàng Duy, Vice President of TDTU, expressed gratitude to the delegation for taking the time to visit and work with the University. He also strongly desired to expand and deepen practical collaboration between TDTU, the Department of Education and Training, and high schools in Dong Nai Province in the future.
On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Vo Ngoc Thach, Deputy Director of Dong Nai Department of Education and Training, highly praised the university management model and the discipline of its students’ activities. He expressed his positive impression of TDTU’s modern, comfortable facilities and its internationally standardized campus with a green and clean environment, which reassures him about the well-being of Dong Nai Province students studying and living there.
The leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Dong Nai Province also expressed a desire for TDTU to continue supporting the province in education, especially by organizing on-site tours and experiences at the University to help students gain guidance on academic fields and future careers. Additionally, representatives from both sides engaged in preliminary discussions regarding potential collaborations in professional development for teachers, supporting the province’s scientific research efforts, and exploring other promising areas of collaboration.
Until now, seven high schools in Dong Nai Province has signed cooperation agreements with TDTU, with over 1,200 students from the province currently enrolled at the University. TDTU has allocated nearly 3 billion VND in scholarships for qualified students from the province and implemented various tuition fee waivers and reductions, along with numerous meaningful and practical support policies and activities for students. The employment rate for TDTU graduates, including those from Dong Nai Province, within one year of graduation, ranges from 99.6% to 100%. Moreover, TDTU alumni are consistently highly regarded by domestic and international enterprises for their spirit of dedication, professional competence, and discipline.
