On April 23, 2024, a delegation of leaders, officers and lecturers of the People’s Police University led by Major General, Prof. Tran Thanh Hung - Principal of People’s Police University (PPU) visited and worked at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), attending the cooperation agreement signing ceremony between the two Universities.

Working with the delegation, on TDTU’s side were Dr. Tran Trong Dao – President of TDTU; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Minh Ly, Vice Chairwoman of the University Council, and Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration; Dr. Vo Hoang Duy - Vice President of TDTU; and leaders of the Faculties, Departments, and Centers.

During the visit, the delegation toured TDTU’s facilities observing the learning environment and had a working session with the Presidential Board and leaders of units under TDTU.

At the working session, the two sides exchanged experiences on various topics including university administration, network security, information technology application, and digital transformation in education and training.

Speaking at the working session, Prof. Tran Thanh Hung - PPU Principal thanked the University for the warm welcome given to the delegation; praised the discipline in living and studying of TDTU students, and  appreciated  the University’s modern, comfortable facilities meeting the international standards, and green environment. He expressed optimism about the new direction and development in signing a cooperation agreement with TDTU, highlighting the potential for deeper cooperation activities between the two Universities in the coming time. Prof. Tran Thanh Hung said that when considering the 50 years of development and the training practices of PPU, there are many similarities as well as training aspects that enable mutual support, cooperation and development of relations between the two Universities which will yield many positive results. “We fully believe that with the responsibility of the soldiers at the People’s Police University and the desire to serve and spread the direction of Ton Duc Thang University, implementation of the cooperation agreement and development will be surely successful.” Prof. Tran Thanh Hung spoke at the working session and signed a cooperation agreement with TDTU.

The cooperation agreement was signed during the working session, which also included a friendly sports exchange at TDTU stadium.
