The Beauty Contest for Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Students with the theme "Community Beauty" aims to find representatives representing the modern beauty of the culture, aesthetics, and personal traits of the younger generation, which creates models for students in particular and the youth in general to set a good example of learning, moral training, active participation in community work as well as provide experience for them to enhance their communicative ability, behaviour, and teamwork skills.

The finale had 40 candidates who passed the preliminary round. The students of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) excellently made their mark with the jury, the sponsors and the community and won many impressive awards, specifically:

* Nguyen Hoang Nghia, Faculty of Civil Engineering won the "Mister style".

* Bui Tuong Van, Faculty of Industrial Fine Arts, “Miss TDTU” won the "Miss Style” and "Miss Sports Apparel" Award.

* The award offered by the Sponsor was given to Loi Vien Quang, Faculty of Law. In addition, Vien Quang also won "Mister Talent".

The achievements of TDTU students at the HCMC Student Beauty Contest have added to the assertion that TDTU's educational and physical education together with the training environment is ideal. The university has developed and trained potential youth generations who are noble and live for the community for a more integrated society in the world.
