On the morning of May 4, 2022, at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), the 3rd International Conference on Applied Sciences (ICAS 3) with the participation of leading experts in the fields of Food Biotechnology, Agricultural Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, and Applied Physics was organized.

ICAS was first held in 2016 and maintained every 2 years. In 2022, the Conference is co-organized by TDTU and foreign universities including the University of Picardie Jules Vern (France), National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (Taiwan), National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan), and RMIT University (Australia).

ICAS 3 - 2022 is a forum for the exchange of applications of Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering (agriculture, food, medicine). The conference's objective is to promote the application of advances in Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering to life not only in Vietnam but also in many countries around the world. This is an opportunity to expand research cooperation between TDTU and scientific institutions, universities, and business communities around the world.

The conference attracted 45 research projects by local and foreign experts. The best works in the fields are selected to be presented at the Conference, and the typical reports will be continued to be considered for publication in the Special Issue published by BIO Web of Conferences and put in the Scopus database.

After the opening session, the Conference continues online until the end of May 5, 2022.
