On September 28, 2023, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and the Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants (VACPA) held an MOU signing ceremony for the period 2023-2028.

Representatives from the VACPA attending the signing ceremony were Dr. Tran Khanh Lam - Vice President and General Secretary of VACPA, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sang - Member of VACPA Executive Board, and Ms. Le Thi Bich Hai - Deputy Head of VACPA Office - Member of VACPA Executive Board.

From TDTU, there were Dr. Vo Hoang Duy - Vice President, representative of the Presidential Board, Mr. Tang Khac Quy - Director of the Center of Enterprise Cooperation and Alumni, Dr. Le Thi My Hanh - Head of the Faculty of Accounting, and all lecturers, staff and students of the Faculty of Accounting.

During the discussion, Dr. Tran Khanh Lam - Vice President and General Secretary of VACPA, emphasized the close friendship between the Faculty and the Association. In addition, he mentioned TDTU’s pioneering model as well as emphasized the importance of generating innovative ideas and committing to supporting for technology and innovation competitions for the accounting industry.

Dr. Vo Hoang Duy, representative of the University’s Presidential Board, highly appreciated the contributions of VACPA and the achievements in the cooperative relationship between VACPA and TDTU in general, and the Faculty of Accounting in particular. The re-signing of this cooperation will further enhance the relationship between VACPA and TDTU, through which the University will create favorable conditions to promote collaborative research and training activities between the two parties as well as actively support for technology and innovation competitions for the accounting industry.

The MOU signing between TDTU and VACPA has opened a promising future for training and developing auditors. The partnership will create exciting opportunities for students, provide expertise and practical experience, and improve the quality of training and professional standards in the audit industry.

This signing ceremony is for re-signing comprehensive cooperation between the two parties for the period 2023-2028. This is an important step in building a sustainable collaborative relationship between TDTU and VACPA, and contributing to the development of the audit industry at Ton Duc Thang University.
