Meeting on Evaluating the Implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding Between Ton Duc Thang University and the People’s Police University

On January 10, 2025, at the People’s Police University (PPU), a meeting was held to evaluate the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and the People’s Police University (PPU) in 2024 and to outline directions for cooperation in 2025.

Attending the meeting were Major General, Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Hung, President of PPU; Dr. Tran Trong Dao, President of TDTU; along with members of the Presidential Boards and leaders of functional Departments from both universities.

In their remarks at the meeting, Major General, Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Hung and Dr. Tran Trong Dao expressed unanimous appreciation for the achievements and results accomplished during the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed on April 23, 2024, between the two universities. Despite a short period, the two institutions successfully collaborated and organized numerous practical and effective activities across various fields, such as hosting seminars, conferences, and scientific discussions; participating in teaching and exam grading; promoting and disseminating legal education; engaging in cultural, artistic, and sports exchanges; and signing cooperation agreements between functional units to exchange expertise and experience.

The leaders of both institutions also emphasized that 2025 will be a year marked by numerous significant political events. Therefore, to enhance the effectiveness of their cooperation and contribute to successfully fulfilling their assigned political tasks, the two universities agreed to continue leveraging their respective strengths in the collaboration process. Both sides committed to supporting and assisting each other, strengthening peer-level exchanges, and intensifying joint efforts to organize conferences, seminars, scientific discussions, and exchanges of knowledge and expertise. They also pledged to collaborate in digital transformation and the application of information technology, regularly engage in cultural, artistic, and sports exchanges, as well as periodically review and meet to foster mutual understanding and further strengthen their close, friendly, and enduring partnership.

On this occasion, amidst the joyful atmosphere of the approaching Lunar New Year 2025, on behalf of the Party Committees and the Presidential Boards, the leaders of both universities extended their New Year greetings to all lecturers, staff, and employees of both institutions. They also expressed their hope that the cooperative relationship between the two universities would achieve many new successes in the future.
