On January 20, 2022, the leaders of the Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee, the Fatherland Front Committee of Chau Thanh District, An Giang Province visited and sent New Year wishes to Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

The delegation included Mr. Le Phuoc Dung - Secretary of the Party Committee of Chau Thanh District, Mr. Tu Thanh Khiet - Chairman of the People's Council of the District, Mr. Vo Chi Trung - Chairman of the People's Committee of the District, Mr. Doan Hong Danh - Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of the District, leaders of agencies under the Party Committee, and the People's Committee of Chau Thanh District.

The delegation was welcome by Dr. Tran Trong Dao - Acting President, Dr. Vo Hoang Duy - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Head of Department of Graduate Studies, and leaders of faculties and functional units.

On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Le Phuoc Dung reported on a number of main contents in the cooperation programs between Chau Thanh District and TDTU such as support programs for local socio-economic development, Green summer campaigns and many other meaningful activities. He wished that the University would continue to coordinate with them to implement activities in order to strengthen the connection between the University and An Giang Province. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, he also sent New Year greetings to the University's leaders and all lecturers.

On behalf of the University, Dr. Tran Trong Dao thanked the leaders of Chau Thanh District for their visit and New Year wishes, and sent New Year wishes to the leaders and people of Chau Thanh District.

Chau Thanh District, An Giang Province - the hometown of President Ton Duc Thang is one of the districts that has had close relations with TDTU for many years.
