On the afternoon of May 9, 2022, the Faculty of Finance and Banking - Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) signed an MOU with Vietnam Financial Consulting Association (VFCA). There was the participation and witness of Dr. Tran Trong Dao - Acting President, MSc. Nguyen Gia Duong - Acting head of the Faculty of Finance and Banking and heads of a number of functional units of TDTU. On the VFCA side, Mr. Le Long Giang - Chairman of VFCA, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Dung - Chairman of Vietnam E-commerce Association, and some other leaders of the Association, Finance Magazine, ... had attended the signing ceremony.
At the ceremony, Dr. Tran Trong Dao said: "That finance is a particularly important field to help organizations and individuals successfully achieve business goals. With the current rapid development of the financial industry, the application of technology in finance is being strongly developed to bring convenience and efficiency in operation and investment strategy planning."
Before the signing ceremony, the two sides discussed the topic of finance and the industry's promising opportunities in the digital age in parallel with the application of e-commerce in business activities. Based on the available potential, TDTU and VFCA are ready to boost cooperation programs in training, research, financial consulting, recruitment, and internship activities.
The signing of the MOU is the first step in providing students of the Faculty of Finance and Banking of TDTU with many opportunities to gain practical access, develop skills, and meet the job requirements of businesses in general and in the financial industry in particular; as well as help businesses under the Association to quickly access human resources trained by TDTU.
VFCA is a non-profit organization in the field of financial consulting. VFCA's members are businesses and entrepreneurs nationwide, mainly in the economic and financial fields. In recent years, VFCA has published many in-depth research reports on finance and securities as well as participated in reviewing many important policies of the Government and ministries.
