Deploying the educational cooperation programme with La Trobe University

On 03/09/2019, the School of Engineering and Mathematics Sciences (EMS) of La Trobe University (Australia) had an informative introduction about the 2 + 2 campus-rotation programme with more than 50 students of Faculty of Information Technology of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

Dr. Pham Van Huy, Dean of Information Technology Faculty, TDTU, said the 2 + 2 programme between TDTU and La Trobe University opens a great opportunity for students to experience and study at one of the best universities in the world in technology.

Prof. Wenny Rahayu, Head of EMS introduced TDTU students to the University as well as the benefits of the programme. The representative of La Trobe University affirmed that TDTU students can get Bachelor's degree at La Trobe University with the cost of only one third compared to the traditional abroad studying pathway. In addition, TDTU students are also offered 5-week scholarship to study English at La Trobe University and dorm accommodation.

Earlier on March 25th, 2019, TDTU and La Trobe University signed a MOU, which covers: granting scholarships to TDTU students to study at La Trobe University; implementing campus-rotation education programmes for students from Information Technology Faculty and Civil Engineering Faculty.

La Trobe University is an Australian public university, founded in 1964 and ranked 308 in the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU). The university currently has 35,000 students studying at 7 campuses across Australia, including 8,000 international students.
