On the afternoon of February 6, 2023, the Party cell of the Socio-Economic 2 held a Party Congress for the term 2022 - 2025. Attendees included Mr. Vu Anh Duc - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council; Ms. Pham Thi Minh Ly - Member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the University, Mr. Vo Hoang Duy - Member of the Party Committee, Vice President; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hoa - Party member, Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of the University; comrades and members of the Party Committee, representatives of the Party cells under the Party Committee of the University; leaders of Faculties and Centers and all members of the Party cell of the Socio-Economic 2.
At the Congress, the delegates heard a report on the evaluation of the implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congress for the term 2020 - 2022. Accordingly, in the last term, the Party cell seriously implemented political and ideological education of party members; fully and seriously participated in the study of the Party's Resolutions; seriously mastered the 4th Central Committee (12th and 13th tenures); Party members, officials, and employees of the Party cell always complete their professional tasks. Party members have also accomplished the regular renewal of teaching methods, and always self-study to improve political and professional skills. Scientific research activities have achieved many outstanding achievements, and many topics are effectively transferred and implemented. The Party cell is always united, enthusiastic and responsible in its work, and the Party members in the Party cell always show their responsibility in all duties.
Speaking to direct the Congress, Mr. Vu Anh Duc - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council highly appreciated the Party cell's preparation for the Congress and acknowledged the Party's efforts in the term 2020 - 2022. The whole Party cell has brought into play the intelligence, collective solidarity of the Party cell and associations, unions, officials and employees in the unit.
At the same time, he asked the Party cell to continue promoting the achieved results, frankly pointing out the shortcomings and weaknesses to overcome; promote the unity of the Party and the organization, proposed many solutions to well implement the Development policy of the University to develop into a research university to make great contributions to the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country. In particular, the specific destination is the determination to expand and develop the University into a multi-disciplinary, multi-functional, high-quality, prestigious international training and research institution, becoming one of the Asia’s 60 best universities in the world in 2037. The Party cell well organizes emulation movements "Skillful people", builds excellent associations and organizations anually, which makes contributions to find out outstanding organizations with completed excellent tasks for the term 2022 - 2025.
The Congress elected the Party Committee, Secretary and Deputy Secretary for the term 2022 - 2025. Results: Comrade Pham Thi Thanh Huyen - Secretary, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Trang - Deputy Secretary and Comrade Ho Phuong Thao - Member.
The Congress also unanimously voted to pass the Resolution of the Congress with 100% of the delegates in agreement. The committee for the term 2022 - 2025 and the Party members in the Party cell of Socio-Economic 2 are determined to strive to fulfill the targets.
