On January 20, 2021, the Faculty of Pharmacy of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) signed the memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the An Khang pharmacy chain, which belongs to Mobile World Joint Stock Company.

Dr. Nguyen Truong Huy - the Acting Dean and lecturers of the Faculty of Pharmacy attended the signing ceremony. From An Khang, there were Ms. Dang Thi Hue - Head of Recruitment Department of Mobile World JSC, Ms. Ho Thi My Hanh - Head of Line Department of Pharmacy and Manager of the An Khang pharmacy chain, pharmacists and other staff.

According to the MOU, both sides will implement cooperation programs on training, research, and co-organize apprenticeship and internship activities for TDTU students majoring in Pharmacy at the An Khang pharmacy chain.

The An Khang pharmacy chain is a system of 75 pharmacies in some cities and provinces such as Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Binh Phuoc, An Giang, Kien Giang, Hau Giang, Ben Tre and Long An. An Khang was born to satisfy people’s increasing needs for health care and modern, branded pharmacies that meet GPP criteria (Good Pharmacy Practice) instead of small and unqualified pharmacies.
