On November 27, 2020, the Automation festival 2020 with the theme “Digital transformation in manufacturing businesses” was held at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) by the Ho Chi Minh City Automation Association and TDTU.
The festival was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hoai Quoc - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Automation Association; Dr. Nguyen Quan, former Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology, President of the Vietnam Automation Association; leaders of organizations and enterprises participating in the festival; sponsor representatives; experts, scientists, lecturers and more than 2,000 TDTU students.
The framework of the program, after the opening ceremony, was a series of activities including seminars, trade displays, and gala members meeting.
TDTU also participated in the program with the display and introduction of science and technology products for TDTU lecturers and students to research and manufacture such as robots, control systems, information technology products, environmental science and high-tech agriculture. These products attracted the attention of the visitors.
In order to encourage students to study and participate in doing research in the Automation field, at the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee also awarded scholarships to 10 students with good academic achievements in Electricity – Electronics and Information Technology.
Automation Festival is an annual science and technology event of the Ho Chi Minh City Automation Association. This activity acts to connect businesses in the field of automation as well as educational activities with the industry.
