On the afternoon of May 14, 2020, the Delegation of the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association led by Dr. Le Hong Liem, Former Vice-chairman of the Party Central Inspection Commission, Former Standing Member of the Municipal Party Committee – Chairman of Ho Chi Minh city Municipal Party Committee Inspection Commission, Vice-president of Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association paid a visit to Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).
The Delegation was taken on a guided tour around Tan Phong Campus such as INSPIRE library, multi-purpose gym, dormitory and Vietnam-Finland International School (VFIS).
The Delegation expressed a strong impression on TDTU's modernity and world-class status; as well as the scale and outstanding development of the University in a short time.
The two sides discussed policies to support Cambodian students studying at TDTU such as granting scholarships for students; organizing apprenticeship programs for Cambodian high school students to experience the education environment and the professions that are being trained at TDTU.
The representative of TDTU College of International Studies gave a preliminary report on Cambodian students’ study results and said that many of them have excellent academic achievements and are active in the activities of the University.
The representatives of the Association expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome from TDTU and looked forward to supporting the University by introducing TDTU to high schools in Cambodia.
