On the first of December 2018, Center of Enterprise Cooperation and Alumni, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) together with Center of Job and Enterprise Supporting Service, Ho Chi Minh City Export Processing and Industrial Zones Authority (HEPZA) organized the "Career Fair in 2018" at Tan Phong campus, TDTU.

There were 61 enterprises participating in the festival with 64 booths introducing business activities and receiving applications, interviewing on-site recruitment. More than 4,000 final year students from TDTU came to contact with businesses, to look for career opportunities as well as to learn about the professions and production models.

On occasion of the 2018 Career Fair, a Career Fund called "Industrial Park - Ton Duc Thang University" has been established to help students overcome their difficulties to study well. There were 40 scholarships awarded with a total value of VND 225 million (including VND 175 million in cash and 5 bursaries with the amount of VND 5 million each for English courses). There were a round table discussion between TDTU, HEPZA and enterprises participating in the seminar about the training and supplying of human resources associated with enterprises, which has created a consensus between enterprises and educational institutions in the integration of developing high quality human resources. In addition, TDTU has also signed cooperation agreements with a number of potential enterprises.

The Fair helps to meet the needs of enterprises on recruitment; it concurrently creates a good opportunity for TDTU students to seek, seize opportunities and be confident in their ability in front of the recruiters.
