Ton Duc Thang University issued Decision No. 316/QĐ-TĐT dated January 30, 2024 on the promulgation of the Regulation on the consideration and granting of scholarships, commendations, and support for learners; community-support scholarships and other types of support (hereinafter referred to as “the Regulation’). Subsequently, Decision No. 559/QĐ-TĐT dated February 25, 2026, issued by the President of Ton Duc Thang University, amended and supplemented Article 2 of the Regulation. Additionally, Guideline No. 718/HD-TĐT dated March 7, 2025, provides further implementation instructions regarding these scholarships, commendations, and support mechanisms.
The University granted tuition fee exemptions and reductions for the academic year 2025 - 2026 to 275 students subject to the provisions of Decree No. 238/2025/NĐ-CP dated September 3, 2025, issued by the Government. This Decree regulates the mechanism for tuition collection and management at institutions within the national education system as well as policies on tuition exemption, reduction, learning cost support, and education service prices amounting to a total of 2,029,505,000 VND.
The University provided study expense support for the academic year 2025 - 2026 to 21 students subject to Decree No. 66/2013/QĐ-TTg dated November 11, 2013, issued by the Government, which regulates the mechanism for tuition collection and management at institutions within the national education system and policies on tuition exemption, reduction, study expense support, and education service prices with a total amount of 147,420,000 VND.
The University provided study expense support for the academic year 2025 - 2026 to 02 students eligible under Decree No. 57/2017/NĐ-CP dated May 9, 2017, issued by the Government, which stipulates preferential admission policies and study expense support for preschool children, pupils, and students belonging to very small ethnic minority groups, with a total amount of 65,520,000 VND.
From June 2025 to May 2026, the University provided support covering the difference between the University’s tuition fee and the state-supported tuition fee or study expense support for students under policy beneficiary groups and poor households in accordance with regulations, to 164 students, with a total amount of 516,803,075 VND.
At the same time, in 2025, the University granted scholarships, commendations, and other forms of support tailored to specific student groups, while also seeking external scholarship sources to accompany and support students in their learning and training at the University, with a total amount of more than 63 billion VND.
