On the morning of September 26, 2019, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) signed a cooperation agreement with Saigon - Vinh Long Beer Joint Stock Company (Savibeco). Attending the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Duy Phong, Director, and some of Savibeco's key leaders.  On behalf of TDTU were Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Son, Vice President, as well as leaders and lecturers of the Faculty of Applied Sciences.

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Son thanked Savibeco for having supported students of the Faculty of Applied Sciences over the past few years. He also emphasized that cooperation with leading businesses such as Savibeco is an important part of TDTU's strategy to maintain a 100% employment rate after graduation.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Phong expressed his great impression of TDTU's facilities as well as the University’s achievements. He hoped that TDTU will be one of the leaders in the improvement of national educational quality, and committed that Savibeco will support TDTU as much as possible.

Sai Gon - Vinh Long Brewery Factory started its construction on September 6, 2012 on an area of over 43 hectares and officially began operations on November 26, 2013. Since then, the factory's capacity has reached 100 million liters of beer per year with the main products being Saigon Lager canned beer, Saigon Export bottled beer, Saigon Lager bottled beer, Saigon Special canned beer and Saigon Special bottled beer.

For more than 5 years of operation, Savibeco has quickly asserted its position as one of the nation's major brands and always achieved high growth rates.
