A meeting between the Faculty of Accounting and Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

On 25th September 2019, the Faculty of Accounting of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) had a meeting with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) to summarize their cooperation activities over the past three years and to discuss future plans for enhancing the quality of cooperation in the future. This information will be included in a Memorandum expected to be re-signed this October of 2019.

Attending the meeting on behalf of ICAEW were Mr. Wei Luo Tan, Chief Representative of ICAEW Singapore; Ms. Dang Thi Mai Trang, Chief Representative of ICAEW Vietnam; Ms. Le Bich Tran, Head of Education Market Development, ICAEW Vietnam; Mr. Mai Duc Cuong, Director of Enterprise Market Development, ICAEW Vietnam. Representatives from the Faculty of Accounting included Ms. Le Thi My Hanh, Dean; MSc. Tran Do Thuy Linh, Assistant Dean, MSc; and Nguyen Phuc Thien, the faculty's international cooperation specialist.

ICAEW is a prestigious international career partner that has had a strategic relationship with the Faculty since 2016. The two parties have implemented many effective cooperation activities, such as integrating the professional certificate called ICAEW CFAB into the High Quality Bachelor's degree program, organizing a summer term in Singapore for TDTU students (ELP Program 2018, 2019), and coordinating student exchange trips to TDTU for foreign students taking ICAEW CFAB, an international certificate program combining practice in accounting, auditing, tax advisory, and financial consulting at the University.
