Dr. Phan Dao received an award from Tomas Bata University

On April 13, 2022, Tomas Bata University (UTB) - Czech Republic celebrated its 20th anniversary of establishment. The ceremony was solemnly organized with the participation of 400 guests from leaders of Czech universities, the Czech Academy of Sciences, companies cooperating with the university and government agencies, as well as students and lecturers of the university.

On this anniversary, the President of UTB presented 8 awards to outstanding individuals who made great contributions to the development of the university in 8 fields: Training - Creating new intellectuals creativeness - International cooperation - Cooperation with industry - Ethics and law - Sports - Cooperation with local governments - University development.

Dr. Phan Dao - Director of the European Cooperation Center, and Director of the Bata Center of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) - is one of the recipients of UTB's awards. Dr. Phan Dao was presented the award in the field of international cooperation with the achievement "for the important and meaningful contributions to the development of international relations of the university in the past 20 years".

As the Director of the Center for European Cooperation and the Director of the Bata Center at TDTU, Dr. Phan Dao has made many contributions to developing the cooperation relationship between TDTU and UTB as well as other universities in the Czech Republic. Many important cooperation programs in training, science and technology between TDTU and Czech universities, especially with UTB, have been effectively implemented.

UTB is also a founding member of the University Consortium International (UCI).
