Ton Duc Thang University grants scholarships to new students in 2020

Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) offers hundreds of scholarships with a total value of up to billions of VND to new students who are admitted to the University in 2020.

In order to support the new students in the academic year 2020-2021, TDTU has developed a special scholarship policy for new students who are admitted to the University in 2020.

Hundreds of scholarships with a total value of billions of VND will be awarded to new excellent students from groups as follows:

Students come from provinces cooperating with TDTU including Binh Dinh, Binh Thuan, Gia Lai, Lam Dong, Quang Ngai, Ninh Thuan, and Ngoc Hoi district (Kon Tum province).

Students from high schools that have signed an MOU with TDTU.

The student who won the first prize in the National Science and Technology Contest.

Students from high schools for the gifted and some key schools in Ho Chi Minh city.

Students of Joint program with international universities.

In addition, in the academic year 2020-2021, TDTU will award scholarships for some special majors as follows:

Transport construction engineering and Urban and regional planning: 5 scholarships/ major with the value of each scholarship equivalent to 50% of tuition fee of semester 1/2020-2021 for new students in area 1 and rural area 2 admitted to TDTU.

-Industrial design: 5 scholarships with the value of each scholarship equivalent to 50% of tuition fee of semester 1/2020-2021 for new students admitted to TDTU, priority for disadvantaged students.

- Golf: 15 scholarships with the value of each scholarship equivalent to 25% of tuition fee of Semester 1/2020-2021 for new students who are admitted to TDTU.

-Social work: 60 scholarships with the value of each scholarship equivalent to 25% of tuition fee of Semester 1/2020-2021 for new students who are admitted to TDTU.

- Labor safety: 100 scholarships with the value of each scholarship equivalent to 25% of tuition fee of Semester 1/2020-2021 for new students who are admitted to TDTU.

- Applied mathematics and Statistics: 60 scholarships/ major with the value of each scholarship equivalent to 25% of tuition fee of semester 1/2020-2021 for new students who are admitted to TDTU.

For all majors mentioned above, after the end of Semester 1/2020-2021, the University will base on students’ learning outcomes to grant scholarships according to the University’s policy.

Regarding Civil Engineering and Urban and regional planning, the Faculty will find scholarships to sponsor 100% of tuition fees for students in the next semester if students achieve good academic performance and above and good results in the extracurricular activities.
