Commemorating the 138th Anniversary of the Birth of President Ton Duc Thang at TDTU

To commemorate and honor the great contributions of President Ton Duc Thang – an exemplary worker and an outstanding leader of the Party and State – as well as to recognize outstanding individuals among workers, public employees, and laborers, and to carry out activities to support and accompany union members and workers, the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labor will organize the Commemorating program of the 138th anniversary of the birth of President Ton Duc Thang (August 20, 1888 – August 20, 2026), together with activities honoring and supporting union members and workers at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

Program details:

• Time: 8:00 a.m., August 20, 2026 (Thursday)
• Venue: Hall 2A, Ton Duc Thang University, No. 19 Nguyen Huu Tho Str., Tan Hung ward, HCMC
• Flower and incense offering ceremony: 7:30–8:00 a.m. at the Monument of President Ton Duc Thang, Ton Duc Thang University.

The program will feature the following main activities:

• Presentation of the 26th Ton Duc Thang Award and the 2026 July 28 Award
• Launch of the Tran Van Kieu Scholarship Program
• Launch of the core political force among workers and laborers
• Launch of the Digital Trade Union mini app
