International Conference on Innovations in the Social Sciences and Humanities 2026 (ISSH 2026)

The 4th International Conference on Innovations in the Social Sciences and Humanities 2026 (ISSH 2026) will take place at the Tan Hung Campus of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) on June 11–12, 2026.

The conference is hosted by TDTU in collaboration with the University of Melbourne (Australia), National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (Taiwan, China), Jadavpur University (India), Wako University (Japan), Gampaha Wickramarachchi Indigenous Medicine University (Sri Lanka), Nueva Vizcaya State University (Philippines), Oakton College (United States), the Centre for Policy, Communication and Society (India), and the TARN-Transit Asia Research Network (Taiwan, China).

ISSH 2026 features 45 presentations by scholars from Vietnam and more than 10 countries worldwide on emerging research in the social sciences and humanities. Under the theme “The Social in the Digital”, the conference highlights growing concerns regarding the impacts of technology and digitalization on social life.

Rapid transformations in the digital environment are raising pressing issues related to communities, identities, social relationships, and the functioning of modern economies. In this context, academic research plays an essential role in analyzing, guiding, and critically reflecting on these changes, while also helping society better understand issues of knowledge production, coordination, information classification, and mechanisms of control in today’s digital society.

The conference brings together more than 20 international scholars from countries including the United States, Germany, China, Sri Lanka, India, Australia, Canada, Taiwan (China), the Philippines, and Indonesia, alongside over 20 leading scholars from Vietnam.

With its diverse range of participants and research topics, ISSH 2026 is expected to become an international academic forum that promotes knowledge exchange and encourages the sharing of new approaches and research methodologies in the fields of social sciences and humanities.
