Vietnam Science and Engineering Fair, academic year 2024-2025
In coordination with the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, TDTU is proud to be the host of The Viet Nam Science and Engineering Fair (ViSEF), 2024-2025 academic year. The competition will take place from March 19 to March 21, 2025, with a scale of up to 74 units (including 62/63 Departments of Education and Training, 12 units of universities, colleges, institutes, research institutes with high schools; high schools under the Ministry and ministerial-level agencies), and 212 projects registered for the competition.
ViSEF is an annual event organized by the Ministry of Education and Training for the first time in 2013. The competition is of special importance in general education, providing a useful playground for high school students to participate in research, demonstrate their capacity, thinking, creativity, and bold ideas of youth in science and technology to apply in practice, improve the quality of life, and contribute to the development of the country. The competition has promoted the strong development of scientific research activities in secondary education institutions, creating strong motivation for students to study, research, nurture and develop their creativity to turn their dreams into reality. In addition, the competition has also promoted innovation in teaching methods in general schools, contributing to comprehensive education, guiding students to know how to apply knowledge to solve practical problems. In particular, the scientific and technological innovation movement has opened up opportunities for students to access the world of science, contributing to nurturing scientific talents.
The 2024-2025 school year is the first year the competition is organized according to Circular No. 06/2024/TT-BGDDT, dated April 10, 2024 of the Minister of Education and Training on promulgating the Regulations on the National Science and Technology Research Competition for middle and high school students.
