ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance International Conference 2024
Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) is proud to host the AUN-QA International Conference 2024 (AUN-QA IC). The conference will take place from December 11 to December 13, 2024.
This marks the first time the event is held in Vietnam and is expected to attract nearly 120 universities from across the ASEAN region. The conference serves as an academic forum where experts, educators, and university leaders exchange and share experiences on higher education quality assurance, provide updates, and offer diverse perspectives on the future of the sector with the aim to contribute to enhancing the quality of education in the region to meet the increasing demands of society and international integration trends.
The conference program consists of three main activities:
(1) AUN-QA International Conference (AUN-QA IC) is the forum which enables experts, educators, and representatives of universities to share experiences and discuss pressing issues in the field of education quality assurance. Under the theme “Innovating ASEAN Higher Education: Embracing AI Integration, Database Utilization, and Future-Ready Quality Culture,” the conference focuses on the critical roles of artificial intelligence, data-driven strategies, and quality culture in advancing higher education quality.
(2) AUN-QA Assessors’ General Assembly (AUN-QA AGA) aims to share experiences, provide training, and discuss specialized topics to enhance the skills and expertise of AUN-QA assessors in evaluating education quality.
(3) AUN-QA Chief Quality Officers’ Meeting (AUN-QA CQOs Meeting) is exclusively for those responsible for quality assurance, providing a platform to discuss, update, and strategize the development of AUN-QA’s quality assurance systems in the coming time.
As the host institution, TDTU is committed to fostering collaboration among higher education institutions in the region and contributing to the collective effort to enhance the quality of ASEAN higher education, bringing Vietnam closer to international standards.
