Events Organized on the Occasion of the University’s 25th Founding Anniversary

Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) will solemnly organize the 25th Founding Anniversary Program (September 24, 1997 - September 24, 2022) on the morning of September 23, 2022. This is an important event marking the outstanding development of the University in the past 25 years in many fields.

Below is some information about events organized to celebrate the University’s 25th Founding Anniversary from September 17, 2022 to September 24, 2022:

September 17, 2022

  • 13:30 - 16:00: Exchange activities between the delegation of students and lecturers of Maticni High School Ostrava - the Czech Republic and students of the Faculty of Business Administration - TDTU opening the delegation’s 10-day cultural exchange program in Vietnam.

September 19, 2022

  • 8:30 - 10:00: TDTU works with La Trobe University and Study Melbourne Center.
  • 10:00 - 13:00: Cooperation session with Skoda Auto University - Czech Republic.

September 20, 2022

  • 9:00 - 14:00: Exchange activities with Hong Ha Secondary School and High School, Go Vap District.

September 21, 2022

  • 09:00 - 11:00: Opening ceremony of the International Conference on Finance and Economics (ICFE 2022).
  • 10:00 - 12:00: Opening the first course of Sandwich doctoral program in Economics, Administration and Marketing between TDTU and Technical University of Ostrava.
  • 13:00 - 15:00: TDTU works bilaterally with the University of Pardubice, Czech Republic.
  • 13:30 - 17:00: Enterprise Forum: Metaverse from research to reality.
  • 15:00 - 16:00: The Faculty of Civil Engineering - TDTU works bilaterally with the University College of Northern Denmark (UCN).

September 22, 2022

  • 08:00 - 10:30: Opening ceremony of the International Business Forum on Investment, Trade and Tourism 2022.
  • From September 22 - September 24, 2022: International Exhibition on Investment, Trade and Tourism 2022.
  • 09:00 - 10:00: TDTU works bilaterally with University of L'Aquila, Italy.
  • 09:00 - 10:30: Vietnam - Finland International School (VFIS) under TDTU works bilaterally with the University of Ottawa, Canada; TDTU works bilaterally with Emlyon Business School, France.
  • 16:30 - 17:30: Opening and awarding ceremony of Doctorate degree of sandwich program; The Ambassador of the Czech Republic visits and works with TDTU.

September 23, 2022

  • 08:00 - 12:00: The 25th Founding Anniversary of Ton Duc Thang University, receiving the Labor Medal from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the university ranking certificate of THE.
  • 14:30 - 15:30: Opening ceremony of La Trobe University Office at TDTU and the signing ceremony to expand cooperation in the international business training program; Welcoming the Delegates of Bac Kan province and universities from the Czech Republic.
  • 15:30 - 16:30: Conference for UCI Presidents and Extended Members; Meeting with the Deputy Minister of Education and Sports of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic at TDTU; TDTU works bilaterally with the University of the West of England, Bristol.

September 24, 2022

  • 07:00 - 22:30: TDTU Traditional Festival.
  • 10:30 - 17:00: Study Abroad Counseling Day.
  • 13:30 - 15:00: Meeting between faculties and alumni.
  • 15:30 - 17:00: Meeting between the leaders of the University and alumni (according to the plan “25 years - Returning day” Connecting the community of the University’s alumni); Introducing the Executive Board of the University Alumni Club for the academic year 2022-2023.
