Based on the bilateral cooperation program between Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and Technical University of Ostrava, Tomas Bata University and University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague (Czech Republic), TDTU has continued to enroll new students of the 2018 academic year with 32 Ph.D. students in the fields of Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electronics and Construction currently enrolled.
The opening ceremony of academic year 2018-2019 of the new course will be held at 15:30pm on September 21, 2018 at Room A403, TDTU, 19 Nguyen Huu Tho Street, Tan Phong Ward, District 7, HCMC with the participation of the leaders of the Czech universities and TDTU; professors of the universities, lecturers and Ph.D. students.
After more than 5 years of cooperation in training and enrollment, the two-phase doctoral program has proven its superiorities: the quality of study and research is at the same level with the full-time program in Europe, the two- year period of studying at TDTU is the time to consolidate the research foundation and prepare well for the successful implementation of intensive research at the Czech universities in the 2nd phase; therefore, Ph.D. students not only can learn more effectively and plan their time to work and study rationally, but are also supported with the very low cost of studying compared to the 4-year program abroad (the full-time program).
The program has been contributing to the training and supply of high quality human resources for the development needs of universities, institutes, research institutes and sociopolitical organizations in Vietnam.
Participants: Ph.D. students, university leaders, ECC centers and other lecturers who are interested in this field.
