International cooperation
TDTU focuses on collaborating with higher education institutions and international organizations to implement undergraduate and postgraduate programs, as well as short-term exchange programs; carry out joint research projects, thereby expanding a network of long-term and sustainable partnerships to enhance the quality of training, research, and the university's international standing.

University Consortium International

In 2019, TDTU, along with 9 other member universities from 9 countries, initiated the establishment of the University Consortium International (UCI). This is an international collaboration community aimed at promoting the development of higher education and scientific research towards sustainable development.

Ton Duc Thang University Welcomes and Works with the Delegation from the University of Waikato (New Zealand)
During the meeting, both universities agreed to collaborate on implementing the Joint Training Bachelor’s Program in Business with three majors: Digital Economics, Supply Chain Management, and Finance. The program will follow a (3 + 0) full-time model delivered entirely in Vietnam. The curriculum will be fully developed and delivered by Waikato, with lecturers appointed and managed by the University of Waikato, ensuring quality equivalent to the main programs in New Zealand. The program is internationally accredited by AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA, and is ranked among the top 1% of Business programs worldwide.

Within the framework of the working session, both institutions discussed potential areas of cooperation, including Business Administration, Economics, Information Technology, Computer Science, and related fields. They also explored the implementation of collaborative activities such as exchange activities for lecturers and students, joint research, conference organization, and co-supervision of students.

The fair featured a wide range of rich and diverse activities, including booths showcasing souvenirs imbued with the distinctive cultural identities of various countries; traditional folk game competitions; and hands-on experiences such as Vietnamese coffee brewing and making Banh Chung and Banh Tet.
