Kambria online Hackathon II

Established in 2017, Kambria is an open innovation platform that enables collaborations in research, development, production and distribution of cutting-edge technologies. With the desire to bring practical value to the community of programmers, developers, pioneering technology solution creators, Kambria together with its partners organize the Kambria online Hackathon II (KO Hackathon II) with the following information.

1. KO Hackathon II challenges

  • Detecting pathological abnormalities from cough data together with FPT Software and the AICovidVN community project;
  • Developing a recommendation system for STEM education programs with Kidspire, a non-government organization;
  • Learning and application development activities with Ohmni robot in collaboration with OhmniLabs and 7 leading universities in Vietnam in the field of science and technology.

The total prize and robot sponsorship of $50,000.

2. Registration

Each university forms a team of 3-5 students (students of Electrical - Electronics, Information Technology, Pharmacy, Applied Science, etc. can participate in the competition). TDTU students, who are interested, please contact Dr. Vu Tri Vien (Email: vutrivien@tdtu.edu.vn, Tel: (+84) 91 8850014) for registration by August 30, 2021.

Topic: Learning and application development activities with Ohmni robot (Learning Activities with Ohmni robot).

The university participating in the competition will be sponsored 1 robot and accessories to develop a viable application idea in the current conditions to support the community.

Implementation time: From August to November 2021.

Awards and benefits:

  • 01 first prize of 2,500 USD, 01 second prize of 1,500 USD awarded by the organizer;
  • Get qualified for extracurricular training points according to university's regulations.

3. Competition opening ceremony

Time: 10:00 am, Saturday, August 28, 2021.
