On September 21, 2023, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized a ceremony to announce and confer decisions on appointing managerial personnel for certain positions and titles within the university.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Tran Trong Dao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of TDTU; Dr. Vo Hoang Duy and Dr. Dong Si Thien Chau, Vice Presidents of TDTU; along with the leaders of various units under TDTU.

According to the University’s decision, Ms. Tran Thi Hong Tham was appointed as the Chief Accountant of TDTU, Dr. Nguyen Truong Huy was appointed as the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong was appointed as the Personnel in charge of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Dr. Ngo Son Tung was appointed as the Director of the Institute for Advanced Study in Technology, and Dr. Thai Hoang Chien was appointed as the Vice Director of the Institute for Advanced Study in Technology.

On behalf of the university leadership, Dr. Tran Trong Dao extended congratulations to the recently appointed managerial officials. He affirmed the trust and confidence of the Presidential Board and the lecturers towards each individual in their new roles and responsibilities. The President assigned tasks and encouraged the appointed individuals to continue building on the achievements of the past, striving toward common goals, and contributing to the development of TDTU.

Dr. Ngo Son Tung, Director of the Institute for Advanced Study in Technology, on behalf of the newly appointed managerial officials, expressed sincere and profound gratitude to the Presidential Board, the President, and the leadership team who have consistently guided, provided opportunities, and nurtured them. He stated, “We deeply understand that this is a great honor and immense pride, as well as a highly significant responsibility entrusted to us by the University. We promise to make every effort to excel in our duties and contribute our modest efforts to the sustainable development of the University.”

This managerial personnel appointment phase by the University is aimed at further optimizing the institution’s operations, ensuring stable and sustainable development for Ton Duc Thang University.
