CITT is expected to serve as a focal point for organization in promoting and coordinating activities related to applied research, technology development, expert-enterprise networking, knowledge transfer, startup support and the creation of scientific and technological products for the community. The Center will also play a crucial role in the University’s strategy to build an innovation ecosystem, enhance research and development (R&D) capacity, and strengthen collaboration among the University, enterprises, government, and society.

According to June 2025 data from Scopus, the Journal of Information and Telecommunication (JIT) of Ton Duc Thang University has increased its CiteScore from 7.5 in 2023 to 8.2 in 2024, ranking 21st out of 160 journals in the field of Computer Science.
