On March 29, 2024, Ton Duc Thang University Council (TDTU) organized the 18th meeting of the term 2021-2026. Dr. Vu Anh Duc, Chairman of Ton Duc Thang University Council, chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, members of the Ton Duc Thang University Council conducted a mid-term consensus voting for the titles of Chairman of TDTU Council and President of TDTU.

Also, during the meeting, Dr. Tran Trong Dao, the President of TDTU, on behalf of the TDTU Presidential Board, reported on the University’s activities between the two meetings. The results of the University’s activities in 2023 have achieved many accomplishments in various aspects, and the University’s management has become increasingly efficient and qualified.

The Presidential Board also presented proposals to the University Council for consideration and approval of major strategies to develop TDTU in the upcoming period. During the meeting, the University Council approved organizational and personnel affairs, as well as approved the fourth 5-year development plan for the term 2025-2030. They also approved financial reports, expense settlements, and distribution of financial results for 2023. Finally, they approved the implementation of international partnership programs, and approved investment and equipment projects for laboratories and offices of TDTU’s research institutes in 2024.
