On August 19, 2023, the delegation of the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Quang Ngai Province led by Mr. Le Quang Thich, Secretary of the Union’s Party and Chairman of the Union of Science and Technology Associations, paid a visit to Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU). Representing TDTU, on the other hand, were Dr. Dong Si Thien Chau, Vice President, Dr. Duong Thi Thuy Van, Head of the Department of Testing and Quality Assessment, and representatives of leaders of various centers, faculties and departments.

At the meeting, the two parties exchanged views and discussed the management and development of science and technology. Mr. Le Quang Thich highly appreciated the achievements of international cooperation that TDTU has achieved. He also expressed hope that the university will actively share experiences and support the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Quang Ngai Province in furthering its development in the future. According to Dr. Dong Si Thien Chau, TDTU and Quang Ngai Province have just signed an MOU for the period of 2023-2027. The two parties have established an amicable relationship for many years, so TDTU is willing to connect with the province to achieve its goals with the best results. In conversation with the delegation, Dr. Duong Thi Thuy Van also affirmed that Quang Ngai Province has the advantage of an important position in the central key economic region, which is gradually promoting its full potential. As a result, TDTU is ready to promote its support to Quang Ngai Province in science and technology, as well as in the development of local tourism in order to become an attractive destination for international conferences.
