On the morning of August 26, 2022, the Party Committee of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held a ceremony to announce the decision to establish the party cells under the University Party Committee on the basis of rearranging the current party cells.

There was the participation of Comrade Do Thi Ha - Member of the Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Party Committee of the Universities and Colleges of Ho Chi Minh City, Comrade Vu Anh Duc - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council, Comrade Tran Trong Dao - Acting President, all party members of the University's Party Committee.

The rearrangement and reorganization of the party cells to implement the Project No. 01-ĐA/ĐU dated August 1, 2022 of the University’s Party Committee on the reorganization of the cells according to the units under the university to create favorable conditions for the activities of the cells and the development of party members, in line with the government organization and development orientation of the University in the coming time. Accordingly, the Party Committee of Ton Duc Thang University will include 18 affiliated cells with 286 party members.

On the same day, the Party Committee of the University also held a party activity to study the resolutions of the 5th Conference of the Central Committee (Term XIII) presented by Comrade To Dai Phong - Deputy Chairman of the city propaganda and training commission. During the program, the contents of the documents of the 5th Conference of the Central Committee (Term XIII) were deployed in order to continue to thoroughly grasp and propagate the contents and meanings of the resolutions for contributing to quickly putting the Resolutions into practice in socio-economic life.
