On the afternoon of April 26, 2021, the Investment Challenge 2021 (IC2021), organized by the Faculty of Finance and Banking of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), was officially opened.
The event attracted the IC2019 and IC2020 champions, contestants representing more than 1,700 registered contestants from 70 universities in Ho Chi Minh City and southern provinces and cities.
The accompanying companies and sponsors for the competition who attended the opening ceremony include NH Securities Vietnam and FPT Securities Company (Diamond Sponsor), Tan Viet Securities Incorporation, Phu Hung Securities Corporation, SSI Securities Corporation, VNDirect Securities Corporation, Mirae Asset Securities Company, Yuanta Securities Vietnam One Member Limited Company, Tai Viet Corporation (Vietstock), amiCoach Academy, etc. The competition was sponsored by media agencies such as tinnhanhchungkhoan.vn-Vietnam Investment Review, Vneconomy, Finance and Life, Vietstock.vn, SCTV Cable TV channel, etc.
At the opening ceremory, Dr. Nghiem Quy Hao, Head of the Board of Organizers and the representative of the enterprises, beat the gong to start the competition. Immediately after the ceremony, the Board of Organizers arranged some of the contestants to take the online round in front of the guests and companies’ representatives.
The Investment Challenge is a large and professional academic competition for students of universities and colleges in the South. The competition helps them to experience the stock market while studying at the University, and it also serves as a meaningful and practical playground in the field of Finance and Securities.
