Ton Duc Thang University students won the Loa Thanh Prize 2020

On the morning of December 27th, the  32nd Loa Thanh Award Ceremony was held at the Temple of Literature, Hanoi. 

At the awards ceremony, the students of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) won 1 Second Prize and 1 Third Prize. 

The second prize was awarded to Tran Mong Diem Mi with the project “The detailed planning of a green residential area in order to encourage vehicles-free traffic in Tan Kien ward, Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City”. The project was instructed by the Architect Le Hoang Nam. With this award, this student will receive an Award Certificate, a medal and a Certificate of Merit from the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the “Architectural Creation” certificate from the Vietnam Association of Architects. 

The third prize was awarded to Nguyen Dinh Van with the project “Our Lady of Tà Pao Spiritual and Pastoral Center” including the message “Let light, shadow, and nature lead the way to your own story”. The project was instructed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. and Architect Le Thanh Son. 

Loa Thanh Award is an award for excellent graduation projects of students majoring in construction and architecture, and is jointly organized by the Vietnam Construction Association, Vietnam Association of Architects, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Ministry of Construction. The prize is intended to motivate students to work enthusiastically and to be passionate about their careers, to encourage exploration and creativity; thereby discovering and honoring young talents in the field of architecture and construction.
