President Ton Duc Thang’s 132nd Commemoration 

On the morning of August 20th, 2020, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held a ceremony to commemorate the 132nd anniversary of President Ton Duc Thang’s birth (August 20, 1888 – August 20, 2020). Lecturers, officers, and students of the University respectfully offered incense in front of his Monument. 

With pride and honor to work and study at the university, all lecturers, officers and students of TDTU have strived to serve the country; pioneering, and tirelessly working in order to contribute to bringing Vietnam’s education to the international level; and developing TDTU to become one of the elite research universities in the world. 

With that goal, TDTU collective has gained important achievements after 23 years of development: creating a modern, civilized and standard educational environment; affirming the position of the university at international level; contributing to arousing the revival and reform of higher education nationwide; making Vietnam remarkable on the world map of higher education and science-technology. On August 15th, 2020, TDTU was honored to be ranked in the Top 800 best universities in the world by the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU). 

Following the example of the communist soldier Ton Duc Thang - his steadfastness and revolutionary morality, tireless struggle with enemies and injustice, the collective leaders, lecturers, officers, and students at TDTU make a commitment to continue putting efforts into building it for sustainable and stable development; and willing to fight to protect the educational achievement of the University.
