The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology visited and worked with Ton Duc Thang University

On the morning of 4 December 2019, the delegation of The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) consisting of Prof. Peter J. Coloe, President of RMIT Vietnam, RMIT Vice Director in charge of global development; Mr. Le Minh Khanh, Director of the Department of Finance and Law; and Ms. Tran Huynh Nha Tran, Head of the Department of Communications, visited and worked with Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

Dr. Tran Trong Dao, Vice President of TDTU; Dr. Do Tuong Ha, Dean of Faculty of Applied Sciences and MSc. Truong My Hanh Trinh, Assistant Director of Institute of International Cooperation and Research for Development, welcomed and worked with the delegation.

The two sides discussed the cooperation in fields such as science and technology, the establishment of scholarship funds for excellent students, and building a sandwich dual-degree program between RMIT and TDTU. On this occasion, Dr. Tran Trong Dao also invited RMIT Leaders to join the International Conference on Applied Science (ICAS 2020) to be held in May 2020 at TDTU.

RMIT is an age-old public university in Australia, ranked in the Top 10 Australian universities for research quality and Top 100 in the world in Business-Management, Accounting-Finance, Communication and Media Studies, Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering, Computer Science and Information Systems, Pharmacy and Pharmacology, according to QS World University Rankings.
