Voluntary Blood Donation Day

Many lecturers, staff and students of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) have actively participated in the Voluntary Blood Donation Day organized by the school Union in collaboration with the Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee - Red Cross District 7 and Ho Chi Minh City blood donation center. The program takes place on the morning of October 15 and 16, 2019 at TDTU.

Approximately over 3,000 blood units will be donated in two days to save people’s lives. This is a valuable and meaningful activity contributing to humanitarian education of the community. Above all, this is the timely contribution of valuable blood for emergency care and treatment in more than 100 hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City.

For many years, TDTU has organized numerous blood donations each year. Since 2007, the school has mobilized 18,332 students, lecturers and staff to contribute a total of 21,158 blood units; which greatly contributes to the emergency blood supply and treatment for people.
