In August 2022, the university ranking system ARWU (Academic Ranking of World Universities) 2022 ranked TDTU 601-700 in the world.

In 2019, TDTU appeared in the ARWU rankings for the first time at 901-1000. In 2020, TDTU rose to 701-800 and 601-700 in 2021.
