On the occasion of the 124th anniversary of the establishment of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), on the morning of June 20th, 2018, the Vietnam Olympic Committee (UBOVN) in collaboration with the Faculty of Sport Sciences of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized the Olympic Day with many exciting activities for physical training and experiences. The event aims to propagandize and educate the Olympic value in the student community, which helps young people understand more the sport movement, the Vietnam and international Olympic as well as encourages them to do exercises regularly.
Olympic Day is an annual event which is held in 206 countries and territories of the IOC. TDTU is the only university in the South of Vietnam chosen by UBOVN to organize this meaningful event. Organizing Olympic Day affirmed the prestige of TDTU in general; and excellent physical training activities in recent years of TDTU in particular with the motto: "Healthy body is the foundation of strong spirit; Healthy body and spirit are the foundation of freedom."
