On June 1st, 2018, the Trade Union of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized the International Children's Day and awarded Nguyen Duc Canh Scholarship for the year 2018 to TDTU lecturers’ and staff’s children.
TDTU Trade Union praised and awarded 211 Nguyen Duc Canh Scholarships with the total value of 45.2 million VND to the children who displayed excellent academic achievements in the school year 2017-2018. In addition, the children also had opportunity to experience their parents’ comfortable and modern working environment with many attractive activities at the sport complex, stadium, library, English learning space at TDTU, which helped them have a fun day, explore new things, add more friends, develop their thinking, body and nurture their will to learn and train to become successful citizens in the future.
Being an annual activity of TDTU Trade union, the International Children's Day and the Nguyen Duc Canh Scholarship Award Ceremony showed TDTU’s interest to the future generation of each family and the country. It was also a chance for TDTU lecturers’ and staff’s children to exchange together and make more friends.
