Public Speaker Program in December 2017: Professor Katsuhisa Furuta and "Understanding control through pendulum"

On the afternoon of December 8th, 2017,  after participating in The 4th International Conference on Advanced Engineering-Theory and Applications (AETA) at Ton Duc Thang University, Prof. Katsuhisa Furuta, Former President of Tokyo Denki (Japan) gave a lecture to TDTU lecturers and students in the Public Speaker Program in December 2017.

Prof. Katsuhisa Furuta stressed the importance of control technology in modern societies. He gave participants guidance on learning how technological products are produced and operated by robots and by daily control systems which are found on airplanes, in cars, air conditioners etc. Illustrating the role of control technology, Prof. Katsuhisa Furuta gave an introduction and explanation on the functions of pendulums and types of typical robots as well as the principles of adaptation to humans’ orders through the Research Project on Super Mechanics at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. The lecture has engaged audience with  advanced knowledge, greatly arousing the hunger-for-knowledge spirit and creativity among TDTU guests, lecturers and students.
