This was an activity for Thai and Laotian students, who are currently studying at TDTU, to celebrate their traditional “Tet.” The festival was also a chance for teachers and students of three countries, Vietnam-Thailand-Laos, to exchange culture, get acquainted; review the friendship between the countries and intensify the development of international cooperation in education and science and technology.

Attracting more than 4,500 people, the Festival took place with many activities such as cultural exchanges, traditional martial arts performances, students' flea market, Thai-Laos traditional festival with cultural ceremonies such as the binding of the wrist by thread, plastering powder, bathing Buddha and water splashing to a background of EDM music, which was vibrant and attractive.  All created a jubilant, fun and meaningful festival at TDTU.

During the Festival, TDTU Faculty of Sport Science signed a training cooperation contract with Burapha University in Thailand.
