Ton Duc Thang university ranked top among universities in Vietnam  in scientific research

Nature, the London-based world leading publishing group has just announced the 2017 Rankings based on the scientific research of nations, universities and research institutes across the globe. The Top 10 countries for scientific researches include (in order) The U.S.A, China, Germany, The U.K, Japan, France, Canada, Switzerland, Korea and Spain. In this table, Vietnam has been ranked 57/163 countries.

According to Nature Index data, Ton Duc Thang University is at number 2 among the top 10 research institutions in Vietnam, following Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) and takes the lead for the top universities in the nation.

The ranking of the Nature Index is published in three categories: Article Count: the number of scientific articles in prestigious journals by Nature Index; Fractional Count: the number of articles after adjustment by contribution level; Weighted Fractional Count: the number of articles after editing in the field of astronomy and astrophysics.
