Seminar: "Production of bio-fuels and chemicals from lignocellulosic biomass"

Vietnam is in the top five countries which have been most affected by global warming and global climate change. As a result, new policies and technologies for dealing with this issue are becoming critical.

Under the theme "Producing bio-fuels and chemicals from lignocellulosic biomass", the talk will present a number of results of research on how to convert lignocellulosic material into bio-fuels and chemicals. These projects are funded by the United States Department of Energy; it is part of the United States Government's ongoing efforts to research and develop renewable bio-fuels.
